This project is typical of what expressions can achieve when working with a client.
When discussing with our clients Mr and Mrs Benson what they wanted to achieve for their lounge they wanted to get a more modern minimalist look. They had already ordered a new suite and picked a colour for the carpet and they told me they wanted to keep the TV on the chimney breast but would like some storage putting in if it was possible without reducing the space available.
Taking in what the customer wanted, I suggested having some slim, floating storage units with a soft closing feature and no handles to finish off, keeping in theme with the minimalist look the customer was after. Now it was time to get creative, the customer had a material sample from their sofa, so we decided to work around that when considering colours and wallpaper.
The next morning, I returned to the customers house with a suggested colour theme using our own rang of Expression paints, I also brought some wallpaper samples along with me to create a feature wall where the TV was. Colour theme approved by customer, quotes accepted, our recommended cabinet maker informed we were ready to put a date in the diary and we were ready to go!
Now our lads will never be super models but as you can see from the before and after photos, they do a really good job at what they do.
With a few days of hard work, the last thing to do was to put the new pieces of storage up and finish off the room with a piece of artwork created by myself to compliment the room.
We really enjoyed doing this room and love the finished product, hope you do too!
