Phil Mitchel picks his favourite projects from 2021. Sometimes projects will stay in your mind. The client’s instructions were just right, the preparations were easy, and everyone involved it more than pleased with the results.

Being a decorator is all about the finished project for Expressions Interiors. From the initial chat about what the client would like to do onwards, through the Colour Consultancy, the preparation and painting, to tidying up on a job well done, it is all about the best possible outcome for the customer.

2021 has been a good year for us at Expressions Interiors. You’ll see from our Projects page, we’ve managed to finish some amazing projects. Below are examples of Phil Mitchell’s favourite projects, all of them examples of variety of work Expressions Interiors excel at.

Curvy blue and white kitchen

One of the outstanding services we like to provide is refreshing kitchens. Sometimes clients are particularly fond of their kitchen cabinetry, they can be a centre piece in the heart of a home, so when it comes to refreshing them we take extra care.

The deep blue island and brilliant bright white of the wall cabinets really show off the uniqueness of this kitchen, especially contrasting with the dark of the wooden floor and the curves.

That’s entertaining cabinetry

Given how much time we spend watching TV screens, we don’t want a tired looking, built-in distracting us. This client had had enough of the original colour so contacted us to see what we could do.

A lot of preparation went into this project. No one wants any paint to end up where it shouldn’t, and Phil is very glad to say that worktop was untouched by the painters.

Kitchens in all forms

You’ll see from our Projects page clients have asked us to renew the kitchen in their canal barge. Below are two other excellent examples of Expressions Interiors work in kitchens. The first images of the slide show below are of a large family kitchen, the dark blue of the cabinetry highlighting the large white marble work top and the orange stools.

After these images there are some of a finished utility room off a kitchen. Just because the laundry is carried out in there and the dog gets washed in the sink doesn’t mean it has to look tatty.

Refreshed relaxing bathroom

Wrapping up Phil Mitchell’s favourite projects is this fantastic bathroom makeover. Bathroom paint needs to be durable, there’s nothing relaxing about watching it peel under pressure of condensation.

The client had a very particular look they wanted to achieve, which we were able to deliver. The darker colour used on the vanity unity really brings a touch of glamour to the double basins and mirrors.

It’s not yet New Year though if you are thinking of refreshing your home in 2022 get in contact.
